We hope you had an incredible Design Vision Meeting with our in-house Designer. Ready to fully visualize your project with physical selections? Here we go!
Welcome to the Selection Showcase Meeting.
The purpose of this meeting is for you to finalize your project’s design with personalized product selections with your Project Development Advisor and Designer.
From color choices to material finishes, the Selection Showcase Meeting is where magic begins to unfold. In this session, we embark on a visually exciting adventure to refine your ideas and bring your design to life.
Remember, you’re only one meeting away from officially signing your agreement with Custom - meaning your feedback and voice will be especially important.
But before you head to our rendezvous, let’s take a deeper look at some of the meeting details and decisions you’ll make during this meeting with your Project Development Advisor and Designer:
The Selection Showcase Meeting
The Selection Showcase meeting is the third of four meetings that make up the design phase of the Custom Built process.
Selection Showcase meetings take place at our showroom in Okemos. We will have selected the date and time of this meeting together at the end of our Design Vision meeting.
The purpose of the Selection Showcase meeting is for you to:
-
Review your finalized 3D rendering from the Design Vision meeting
-
See your design come to life with colors, selections, and items representing your vision
-
Finalize your product selections including colors, finishes, fixtures, and much more
Let’s see how this part of the design process works during a luxury kitchen remodel:
In the Design Vision meeting, you drew up your kitchen’s layout and general design: including a beautiful new island and improved flooring. During the subsequent Selection Showcase meeting, you choose quartz countertops for your island and luxury vinyl tile flooring - durable options for your busy family lifestyle.
What the Selection Showcase Meeting Will Accomplish
The ultimate goal of the Selection Showcase meeting is to finalize all product selections for your project.
We have some physical product samples and virtual product selections for you to view in our showroom.
By the end of the meeting, we will have a finalized design that’s ready to be built, using the same product selections in the 3D model that will be used in real life.
Here’s a more in-depth look at what your Selection Showcase meeting will look like:

What Decisions Will I Make During the Selection Showcase Meeting?
You will work with your Project Development Advisor and Designer during the Design Vision and Selection Showcase meeting to decide on the final design and product selections for your home remodeling project. The range and number of decisions you will make depends mainly on the size and scope of the project.
You will make decisions about:
-
Grout for tiles
-
Cabinet style
-
Tile layout and pattern
-
Specific product selections
-
Color of walls, cabinets, drawers, etc
During the Selection Showcase meeting, we will put the finishing touches on your 3D rendering design. Similar to our Design Vision meeting, we will not be satisfied with the final design until you are.
It's essential that every decision is made at this meeting and no loose ends are left, as we use each selection to determine your investment/budget total.
