The Design Vision Meeting
The Design Vision meeting is the second of four milestones that make up the design phase of the Custom Built process.
Design Vision meeting takes place at our showroom. We will have decided on the date and time of this meeting together at the end of our Kick Off meeting.
After your Kick Off meeting, our design team transfers all the measurements and details captured in the Kick Off to our architect software that brings your space to life in the virtual world.
The purpose of the Design Vision meeting is for you to view, make changes to, and finalize your floor plan and 3D conceptual design generated with the measurements gathered during your Kick Off meeting. The meeting following interaction will be your Selection Showcase, when we choose and finalize all of your material selections.
Fine-Tune Your Vision in Real-Time
At our Design Vision Verification meeting, we hand you the artist's brush. You have the power to shape your design in real-time, ensuring every element aligns perfectly with your vision.
What the Design Vision Meeting Will Accomplish
The ultimate goal of the Design Vision Verification meeting is to finalize the conceptual design blueprints for your remodeling project.
By the end of the meeting, you will have a very good idea of what your final layout will be, as well as make any necessary adjustments to the 3D rendering we customize for you.
What Decisions Will I Have to Make During the Design Vision Meeting?
You will work with your Project Development Advisor and Designer during the Design Vision meeting to decide on the final design layout for your home remodeling project.
You will make decisions about:
-
Floor plan layout
-
Location of fixtures
-
Size of the remodeled space
-
Layout of cabinets and drawers
-
Integration into the rest of the home
During the Design Vision meeting, we focus on hearing your input on the design of your remodel. We will not be satisfied with the final design until you are.
If there are changes you want to make but are not advised to due to structural, code, or practical reasons, our Design and Operations team will help you understand what can and cannot be changed.
Preparing for the Design Vision Meeting?
The Design Vision meeting will require input from you. We will engage in a thoughtful discussion about every aspect of your project, during which the Designer will make changes to the 3D conceptual design immediately.
To be most prepared for the meeting:
-
Have all decision-makers present
-
Be ready for energetic discussions
-
